Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Today was my last day of bootcamp, except for the Friday sessions which I will continue to do.  Bittersweet, I will love sleeping in alittle longer, but will miss the intense workouts and the people that trained me and my co-workout buddies. Next week I will start back up the the rec center and do my muscle-up classes and yoga.

1 mile walk with Odee.

I can yell at you and humiliate you as often as you would like. (Just trying to be helpful).

CONGRATS on graduating from Bootcamp SECOND time! SO COOL!

Kelli, I have only lost 6 pounds, but down a dress size and firmed up. I am at 27% body fat right now. I don't think "buff" would be a good word to describe my old body, but I am on the right track for now. Slow and steady....

smooth, yes! I am ready to try it on my own now, with alittle less intensity. That bootcamp wiped me out!

Leslie ~ You can be MY bootcamp sargeant! I need to get firmed up like you. I read the other day that as we get older, we need to strengthen the bones and muscles more than ever. Down a dress size is AWESOME! You are definitely heading the right direction. Keep it up!

Nice job with bootcamp Leslie. That is awesome. I'm sure it will help you with your running too. Now you can start to taper for SG. :)

Scott, start tapering? I have been tapering for over a week! That is my specialty!
