Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Went out for a short easy run to get the legs working again, went pretty well.  I have been off Vitamin I for two days and the heels were a tiny bit tender, but nothing too bad.

Maurine and I are planning to do a 6 1/2 mile hike/run up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Desolation Lake, if anyone wants to join us. It may be our last dry trail run before we get hit with snow!!  Then Breakfast at Silver Fork.  We would love your company!!   Laurie and Chris, come join us!!!!

Maurine and I ended up doing the Cottonwood trail after work, Maurine was speedy Gonzales and I shuffled, it felt good to move my legs a bit.

Nice run :) I am glad the heels aren't too bad. I forgot to ask about how they did at the marathon. So, How'd they do? Have a great day! How's Paul?

Marion, I took vit. I the night before and 4 800mg. during the run, a lot I know, but my feet felt fine, I am not taking any now, and they are a tad bit tender, but not bad. Thanks for asking.

Paul is doing okay, Julie said he said "come here babe" yesterday, stringing a sentence together is HUGE!! I am on my way to hang out with him now.
