Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I had a great run this morning.  I wish I had brought shot blocs and water, I would have kept going but I was hungry and thirsty. I think today I am going to go buy myself a new fuel belt. I have never had one I have really liked, but I think I will try again

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!  I hope you all enjoy this time with your families!!!!

I just got a amphipod fuel belt and a case of shot blocks! I want to run instead of cook! I am so excited! Merry Christmas to me!!!Wasatch Running is putting on a 50K the weekend after Ogden called Joe Sapper 50K, they will be running west of Camp Williams!! I think I am going to have to have the Ogden Marathon be my training run for the Joe Sapper, a great excuse to take it nice and slow!!!
