Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I thought we were going to wake up to snow, so glad it was clear.  I had a nice run from my house to the JRP and met Harold and Odee there and then we did 3 miles together.  We checked out Winn Co while we were down there, we had fun, found some good deals.

Tonight we are going to see Kalai and Cubworld, my favorite local musicans!!!

Nice miles today :) Have fun tonight!

What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Hi Marion! I am cooking for Harold's family this year. What are you doing?

From marion on Sat, Nov 21, 2009 at 17:43:48 from 71.213.112.70

We are going to my parents for a "stuff your face" fest ;) I am going to make Michelle's Bourbon Chocolate Pecan pie and homemade rolls. I will probably gain about 30 lbs :p

Are you having everyone over to your home?

From leslie peterson on Sat, Nov 21, 2009 at 17:46:48 from 76.23.61.78

Stuff your face fest for sure!!!! I am going to walk the neighborhood 5K and then all Harold's kids are coming over to our house. This year my kids go to their dads.

Your Thanksgiving run sounds fun, and the chocolate pecan pie sounds even more fun!

Nice work! Love the stuff your face fest! That's where I'm going for T-day this year. Our parents all took off and left us, so our neighbors took pity on us. I honestly think this will be the best thanksgiving ever! :) Especially since I get to hang out in the cool part of town at the beginning of the day!

Will we see you at all at the race, Leslie?

I am walking with a friend, I will probably see you speed by. I am not even wearing running clothes, just a nice walk before the stuff the face feast!
