Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

It is STORMING!!!! I love snow, though. Hopefully people are not driving like idiots out there.

GOOD JOB!!

We will be running at Thanksgiving point again this weekend starting at 7:30. I do not know if anyone wants to do it again, but i just thought it was a perfect place for a longer run!

I ate like a Saint yesterday (aside from one piece of garlic bread and one mini butterfinger, oh and all of those tootsie rolls---but I stayed in my points for the day). I am now down to 6 .2 from my goal. Wish I was back to 5!!! but, maybe by Thursday. I can not spend the beginning of every week undoing the damage from the weekend. I gotta fix that!

Hey we are both 6 pounds away from goal. We are going to do this TOGETHER!! My weakness is the weekend too! I want to come Sat., but I need to check with Harold, I think Maurine is up for it, I will be in touch. Thanks!!!!!

As long as we are in the same place, all is well. We were both at 5, now we are both at 6!! That is not the direction we are supposed to move, but at least we are together!

Good job. You and Kelli are so cute. I gained 3 lbs over the weekend...for a shortie like me, it's a lot.

Wish I could join you guys this Sat. But I will be in Midway overnight. I hope I can find a good place to run there. I'm staying at Zermat.

LUCKY YOU!!! That would be nice. I am sure you will find somewhere beautiful to run!
