Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

4 whimpy miles for me.  I didn't eat enough last night for dinner and paid the price this morning. LOW  ENERGY!  I know better!

Oh, so sorry you felt wimpy!! But even Sasha has a hard time the day after fast Sunday (according to his wife).

I am back to 8 from my goal, dang weekend!!! We will see where I am in a few days cause my body wigs out on weekends. We WILL get there by Thanksgiving, we will!!!

The 20 miler is not set in stone, I was just throwing that Saturday out as a suggestion as we never go anywhere!!! But it might now work for a LOT of people, so we will see.

Have a good week---let's drop some weight this week!!!

Kelli, it looks like everyone had a rough weekend with Halloween candy and fast sunday, so I am not alone. Okay girl, this will be a good week for both of us!!! Here's to us!!!

Do not tell---you went for diet coke, I went for a little package of M&M's!!! I actually hardly ate any candy. I ate too much bread. We went to Outback Steakhouse in your neck of the woods for dinner becasue we had a gift card. I did not really care for it, Lonestar is way better!! But I ate too much bread, and then popcorn at the movies! I did PASS on my shake that I have every weekend, so that was good! My mistake was making molasses cookies yesterday. I love the dough!

I need to try your recipe. I love cookie dough. Thanks for the true confessions! We are all in this together! Diet coke is evil I know, but better than alot of other things I could have done!!!

From Kelli on Mon, Nov 03, 2008 at 18:51:47

Diet coke is not evil, diet coke is a saving grace!!

I have been eating little tootsie rolls all afternoon! I was going to go grocery shopping, but my daughter fell asleep so i curled up on the couch with a book and some tootsie rolls! STILL, I am within todays points and i am headed out for a 3 miler with my daughter in a sec so all is good.
