Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Went over to the spa and did 4 miles at 5.6 speed and then a mile cool down.  It beat going outside in 11 degree weather.  Now I am enjoying a nice spinach and berry smoothie.   Glad I can stay home all day. The roads are sheets of ice.

Nice run, but I have to disagree with you about running indoors. I prefer 11 degree weather over the treadmill any day.

Twinkie you are crazy!!!! But then I aready knew that, I think I have about a 20 degree limit.

Have a great day!

BRRR! I opted for the dreadmill too! I'm going to venture out tomorrow! Still trying to get used to this arctic having been in Houston the last 10 days. I'm staying home all day too to do bazillion loads of laundry!

I have about a 32 degree limit. Running in this weather is nuts. Maybe you guys can rub off on me. Now I want a smoothie.

Scott, I think maybe you are the smart one, 32 sounds like a nice number!
