Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

This morning  I decided to skip bootcamp.  I felt pretty good, but thought another day of recovery from Sat. would be the smart thing to do.  I took Odee out for a 1 mile walk, and felt great, what little soreness I had yesterday is gone today.   Now to find the perfect balance for tapering for St. George.  I know too much tapering makes me crazy, so I will try and be moderate.

We did a lower body work out at bootcamp and then went outside and did 3 hill repeats on Fort Union Blvd.   I have dropped 2% body fat in 4 weeks. My goal is drop another 5% and then maintain, now that is the hard part!

Less than 3 weeks to SG!!!!!

Lower body work out at bootcamp.  I have one more week of bootcamp and am really looking forward to a break. It is so intense.  I will go back to the CHRC and do muscle-up and yoga for a while.

16 days until St. George!

I am such a naughty girl, I slept in and missed bootcamp at Hillcrest.  Ahhhhhhh...... heaven.  I am taking tapering to the next level.
