Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

This morning Kim S. and I went on a hike up Millcreek, we took the Pipeline trail and then headed up the Birch Hollow trail that goes up to the ridge. It is not a very popular trail, so we were doing a little bush wacking. Odee got to try out his new doggie back pack. He didn't seem to mind it, he can now carry his own water and  leash and dog treats.  It was great!   Now I am going to head off to the pool and try and get in my 70 laps!

Beautiful hike my dear! Sounds like odde may come in handy!

How Paul?

Hey there! I am thinking Odee can take all my treats and water too. He is a big old dog. I don't think he even noticed he was carrying a pack.

Paul is great! Thanks, we are thinking of having a big fundraiser party in the park, Polyneisan food and entertainment and the works, I will have to let all you know when we get a solid plan, should be FUN!

GREAT idea! Count us in (all 8 of us $$$) and post the info on the announcements message board. (tool bar above "discussion board") Maybe we could do a 5k as part of the fundraiser?

I have had a 5k in the back of my mind, it would be fun, I just might do it!!! Thanks!! I would love it, if you come up!!

You need to post a picture of Odee the backpackin' dog on your site sometime!

Good luck with the fundraiser! Posting it on the announcement board is a good idea! I'm thinkin' the 5K would be lots of fun! Just think, you could have some of the speediest people around at it!
