Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

You are too funny!

I PMed you couple days ago inquiring about Bryce Canyon Half.

Are you running it this year? Can you tell me more about this race? Do you think it's feasible to drive from Cedar City to the start on race morning? Any info or tips about this Half will be greatly appreciated! :) THANKS, sweet Leslie! :)

Hi Rach and Smooth!!

I did a goggle search, it looks like it is about an hours drive, but you better double check. I am doing Bryce this year, it is my favorite half. So beautiful and all downhill, I love downhill runs! It is very laid back, they don't use chips, at least they didn't two years ago. It sure would be fun to see you down there. Are you going to be in Cedar for the Festival? let me know if you sign up. We are going to be camping. Sorry I did not get your message.

OK, you sold me on it! I think I will sign up. The RD did say they will have chip time this year. But he is not sure about if I could pick up my bib/chip race morning. Yes, Larry and I will be down at Cedar for the Shakespearian Festival, as a bank function; so won't be able to pick up packet. He is willing to get up at 4 to drive me to the start though!

I will let you know when I sign up! It will be GREAT to see you! :)

Where are you guys camping at?

Your Larry is a gem! It will be great to see you! We are camping at the Ruby's Inn campground, with Gary and Ernie. I am so excited to see you and Larry!!! yay for chips!
