Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Whimpy, whimpy, whimpy! I only did 5 miles on the Cottonwood Trail and mostly walked. The heels are doing pretty well and just want them to stay that way.  I only got in about 10 miles this week.  Next week I will try and increase it to 20 and see how that feels.

Do you think Harold will miss me if I sneak off to Onion Days to do a 5K with the girls?  Maybe I could put some sleeping pills in his ice cream tomorrow night.

Hey... I will not be responsible for getting you busted with your sweet Harold! Although- we could blame it all on Maurine since she it nearly out of the country for most of the month! :D I like that one... tee hee hee!
