Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

This is my 3rd day doing the same route.  I finally cut off a little time.  One thing that helped was not overdressing ( yes, Maurine, you can say, " I told you so!"  How much longer can this fabulous weather last??  It was perfect!

4 miles  46:43  Avg. Pace 11:41

Paul is back home now!  He is on 3 anti seizure meds for the moment, hopefully that will do the trick.

Have a great day!  I  hope Keli has posted her quote, it is always a great way to start the day!!  Did anyone go get their shake?  :)

I told you so! :)

It is kind of funny - you usually wear enough clothes to cover every weather aspect, but I'm the one who brings more food and water than I will ever drink and underdress.

Great job on the running. Now get to work.

(My shake coupon just arrived today)

Leslie!!! I have to credit my good run yesterday to Paul, you and your family. Remember it was a run for y'all. I thought of you guys during the run and had a prayer in my heart. Thinking about the challenge Paul faces gave me the umph and courage to tackle the hills. During the last 3 miles going east, I saw the mountains, the sun peeking thru the clouds, an overwhelming feeling of peace and love enveloped me. At that instance I know that Paul will be all right, that a loving Heavenly Father will bless him and watch over him.

I am so happy to know that he is now home. Hope he continues to respond well to the anti-seizure meds. Have a great day. LLL

Thanks Smooth, that was so very sweet of you to think about our Paul, I believe he will recover too, I am glad you shared your thoughts, thank you for the prayer and thoughts, it is helping him. He is home now, hopefully the worst is behind us. I know others run and spend time focusing on loved ones, Maurine and I actually did at St. George, dedicating each mile to someone we love. Running is great for the soul, time to really think about what is important, and enjoying the beautiful world we live in. YOu are an angel! Okay, enough already I am crying, and I have a lady with color on downstairs!! :)

I am so glad that he is home and I hope that it continues to get better for him. We all have trials, I guess, but they sure have been dealt a tough one! They continue to be in my prayers.

I got my coupon today, too!!!!
