Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Ran the parkway with Julie for part of the time and then with Laura White.  Lots of runners out for the the SLC teaser training run.

Did an evening run with Maurine and Odee on the Pipeline.  Maurine treated me to dinner at Zupas!!!!  Thanks Maurine!!!

Note to Maurine:  I should have let you believe I was faster than a speeding bullet!  But I can not tell a lie!

GREAT miles!!! How early do you go on Sat? I want to come up and run one long one with you per month through the winter :)

PERFECT!!!!! We have a real date!!!!! Marion, if you want to come shower over at my house after the tri you can. I will plan on running over by the tri so I can watch you all run in. Yeah!!

I would love to run with you anytime you want up here, I like to go early, but am flexible. That would be fun!

NICE run on the parkway! GOOD JOB!

I have a 20 miler planned on the 12th. Most likely won't make it to the CF by 11:00am, darn it!

I'm still impressed at your good mileage after a marathon. Too bad Odee is such a wuss.

Iced my feet/ankles and now am icing my right knee. Hopefully if I do that nightly it will help let them recover.

You had me fooled with sore ankles and feet! Thanks for the nice run! I hope the ice helps.
