Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

You survived another week. Congratulations! Have fun with Harold tomorrow.

How many weeks of bootcamp before you "graduate"? Have a GREAT weekend!

From Kelli on Fri, Aug 07, 2009 at 16:28:19 from 71.219.94.65

Nice work!!!

I am free anytime, really, as long as I know the day before. Ashly has to be to soccer by 2:30, so I have to be home by about 2:15. Now that tryouts are over I have much more freedom!

From leslie peterson on Fri, Aug 07, 2009 at 16:33:59 from 76.23.61.78

Smooth, one more week of Bootcamp, but I think I will sign up for another 6 weeks.

Okay Kelli, should we pick a day and see how many can make it? What do you think, Cheesecake Factory, Zuppas, Paradise Bakery, or anywhere else? I am easy.

From Kelli on Fri, Aug 07, 2009 at 16:40:31 from 71.219.94.65

It must be the Cheesecake Factory, I have never been there!!!

From leslie peterson on Fri, Aug 07, 2009 at 16:44:29 from 76.23.61.78

Then of course it will be Cheesecake Factory!!!!!! It gets really crowded at lunch time, it is best to go at 11:00 and beat the lunch rush, would that work? I don't know what your next week is like, but I could do Wed. or Thur.

So have you noticed any changes with doing bootcamp? It sounds like you are working out like crazy!

From leslie peterson on Fri, Aug 07, 2009 at 16:59:03 from 76.23.61.78

Britta, this is the first time in my life I have done serious weight training, I feel alittle stronger, but I have a long way to go, we will see what another 6 weeks does, I am going to work with one of the trainers and get some nutrition help. I really struggle to find the right balance.

Did you finish Jillians's program? How did you like that?

From Scott Wesemann on Fri, Aug 07, 2009 at 18:48:54 from 66.239.250.209

Hey, it's not as fun as the Wasatch, but a good workout anyway. Do you ever miss a day working out?? :-)
