Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I did a 6.20 mile hike on the Cottonwood trail. It was nice to move my legs again. I need to make sure and get my running in between time spent in the hospital. It looks like he will be in intensive care for at least 3 weeks. I will try and keep up on my blog entrys and enjoy watching yours.

Les, since I am the entire IT Department now, I can have a flexible schedule (except today :( ). Just let me know in advance and I can come and torture you mornings or night times. I could even pick you up at the hospital and we could hit the parkway trail.

Hi Les- I'm back- my heart is with you and your family! Hang in there! Glad to see your run today! How is your daughter holding up?

Thanks for asking, my daughter is doing unbelieveably well, she has alot of faith, I am so proud of her, but it breaks my heart to see her go thru this, she and her husband have always had an exceptional relationship. It is tough, but we will get thru this, she has alot of support. Thanks Marion

Leslie, do you want to do an 8 miler with us on Sat? We haven't picked a route yet.

I am going to plan on doing it with you, that would be a perfect length for me right now, and I could use the girl time!!!!
