Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Les, let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Want me to bring by any running books or magazines tonight?

From leslie on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 12:22:16 from 76.23.61.78

Thanks girls, I should have gone to the doc earlier, oh well, better late than never.

Maurine, if you are out and about I would love to read some of your running magazines, but only if it isn't too big of a hassle. I thought I would be feeling better by now, I had to cancel all my appts. today. This nasty cold is hanging on for dear life.

I just got back from the doc. She thinks it is viral and I need to just rest and drink lots, so it is really no biggie, just a pain in the butt and a pain in the throat!

From Smooth on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 17:42:39 from 71.36.65.79

So sorry you're still bog down with this nasty cold. Flush it out with lotsa fluids. Take a nap. Do some yoga. Baby yourself today. Tomorrow will be a better day.

I am so glad you saw the doc. It's always good to know that you have been benched on doctors orders :) Take advantage and rest some for us all :)

I feel like a total gooey looser fat lard! I hope I can run a little bit on Sat. That means one whole week off of running, I am hoping it is a good thing to take a break.

Thanks Maurine for bringing over the Running magazines, I have had fun reading them.

You are not gooey anything ;P REst is always good and you are going to majorly benefit from it :)
