Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I am getting old!  I got up and got my winter gear on AGAIN and went to the park with Odee to do a loop and the cement was icy and I slipped and fell.  I went to the Rec. center and did 3 .50 on the treadmill, I felt tight and tense the whole time.  Oh, well, better days are ahead.

Are you okay? And it is not because you are old! Several of us slipped today and i only did not fall because I grabbed Rachel on my way down and she kept me upright. I hope you are okay!!!

GO AWAY SNOW!!!!!!

Did you get injured? Do you need a cookie? So sorry to hear you fell. Did Odee fall on you? I assume not - since you lived to tell about it.

Hang in there. If it doesn't improve soon I might become a homeless person in Phoenix.

Hang in there. This will end! So sorry you fell - that's one of my biggest fears.

Thanks girls, I am just fine, lots of padding! I am dieing to get in a long run and it just isn't happening. This Sat. is shot, hopefully the next Sat. I will get in an 18 miler, Ogden is so close and I am SO not ready. When 3.5 miles feels tough, it is not a good sign!

Yes, it should be fun! Good luck to you, maybe we will see you at the EXpo too
