Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

3 miles at bootcamp.  Done.  Harold had to work until almost midnight to make a deadline, and I couldn't sleep without him, I am tired, I really struggled thru bootcamp.  Julie just called and said she wanted to cancel our run, great minds think alike.  Off for a nap now.

Hope you got a nap in. I can't sleep w/o Larry either. He has meetings most nights...making it hard to get the needed sleep...thus every morning's a struggle to get up early.

At least you didn't slough bootcamp. Hey, we need to plan a PCM party. What do you think?

It is a good thing Harold is usually home at a decent hour, I hated last night, ended up eating all kinds of crap too, and woke up all messed up.

I am not staying up in PC, I am not sure we could do a party after, we have another obligation that evening, but if you guys get something going let me know, maybe we could drop in to say hi!!! Where are you staying?

We're staying in a cabin, actually it's more like a condo, in the old part of town up on 8th street where the old ski lift is. We have it for Fri, Sat and Sun. I wonder where Maurine is staying.

She is also not staying up there, I am not sure what her plans are. I am so not ready for this, it will be brutal even with an early start, part of me wants to drop out, but I will probably suffer thru it, I need to use at as a training run for St. George and get busy! I am regreting my lazy ways!

By the way, how fun is that to have a cabin!! A nice little mini vacation!!!

I'm treating PC as a long training run too. I think you will do fine. The temp will be cooler. You're used to hiking. Treat the first 17 up miles as a Sat. hike and take it easy on the downhill.

The cabin has at least 4 bedrooms...if you or the gang is interested...PM me.

You are so sweet to offer, thanks, we will probably just get up early, it is only a 30 min. drive for us. Thanks dearie!! Oh, I will take it easy for sure! I will holler at you when you pass by!!
