Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn,but I am enjoying the journey.

10 miles at the Olympic Oval with Gary.  I am listening to Outlander on my ipod.  There is no way I could run on an indoor track with out a good book.

Muscle up and 3 spinning miles.

If you are interesting in running at the Olympic Oval this winter, I am trying to get a group of 10 together so we can each get a discounted year long pass for $20 each. Let me know as soon as possible if you are interested.  It is a bargain!

I joined Planet Fitness today.  It is only $10 a month and no contract.  My CHRC membership was up and was feeling broke, so thought I would try PF through the winter.  I did a 30 minute circuit training program and 2 miles on a crosstraining machine.  I think it will be a nice change for now.

5 miles of hiking/running.  I took my brother's dog Izzy home with me last night, they were going to get rid of her, they had her listed on KSL, the kids were upset, so being the good auntie I am I took Izzy home.  Hopefully it will work out, she will be an excellent trail running dog, hopefully she will be a good house dog too. We have super high standards with Odee being the perfect dog. Time will tell.  The running mojo is low, I hope it doesn't last long. Kind of in a funk, maybe a day of shopping will help.

Today was my  Olympic Oval day.  I got in 12 miles.  Gary is my regular running buddy, but today Paul came too, he did well, hopefully he will be joining us every Wed.!!

 a walk around the park with the dogs before sun up to beat the dog catcher, a nice walk around Spencer Pond and along the creek with Ardie in the snow and then finished up with some treadmill miles while listening to Outlander.
