Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Our class met at Hillcrest High.  I ran 38 flights of stadium stairs and ran on the track.  Killer!  Now I need to take it easy, I will probably be sore for the RHPC half, but oh, well, it is all for fun!!  See you all tomorrow!!!

Dang, I wish I was fast, I want the CHICKEN!!!!!!

Last time I ran stairs my calves complained for a week. :) It’s a nice workout though. Good luck in your race.

Thanks Scott! I am trying to toughen up! The pressure of being in a class seems to get an honest workout out of me. I wish I had the discipline on my own.

Have a great weekend!

Funny, but that chicken is inspiring me too!!! :) What class is that your taking? Sounds like a killer one!

Rad, it is a 6 week boot camp. It is kicking my butt, I would never push myself like this on my own. It is just what I need, and I am learning that I do like to work hard! That surprised me!

I will see you tomorrow my friend!!!

Yes! Leslie! You're HARD WORKING chicka!!! I have never ever run stairs before. I'm such a glutz. GOOD JOB on the bootcamp class. You're AWESOME!
