Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Xtraining day!  I slept in this morning, my arms were really stiff from muscle up on Tue., I just got back from yoga and got everything all stretched out and feel great.  Now I am off to try the protein powder I got at Costco. I got the chocolate, I am going to put in berries, bananas and ground flax seed.

Enjoy your cross training. I need to hit the gym and do legs tonight.

Great idea. I have been wondering how to pull myself out of my stiffness and drudgery. Instead of going back to bed, I'm going to do some stretching and a little exercize. Thanks for inspiring me.

Maurine, have fun at the gym!

Gary, I am not good at yoga, but it sure helps and I am getting hooked!

They sell a massive container of flax seed at Costco, too. Love that stuff. I hope you enjoyed your smoothie.

We both did Yoga today, LOVE IT!

I love protein smoothies. I do the Rodney Yee beginner AM Yoga DVD. I don't dare do it in front of others, heavens forbid, what kinda contortions they do.

Hope you and Maurine come run the JRP in Lehi meeting at 6am. Bring Gary and Harold can bike there.

I am terrible with DVD's, I get bored and quit, if I am in a class and pay I HAVE to stick it out. You are more disaplined then I am.

Your plans sounds tempting, but when we did the parkway last Sat. my feet killed me, I am hoping I can stay on trails as much as possible, maybe if I was little like you and I could fly like you the pounding of the pavement wouldn't bother me so much. :) But I will sure miss the good company and tailgate party!! You never know, I change my mind so much, I may just show up.

How was that protein powder? How'd it sit?

Deb, it was good, but then I can eat pretty much anything with out a problem
