Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

What a busy day!  I got up this morning and did a 5 mile hike with Colleen, the Shoreline trail again.  I will write tomorrow and report on our 10 mile long run.  I wonder if I can come any where near Marion's Riverwoods pace, that would be nice, but I doubt it.   Off to the bank before my next appt!!!

Oh dang, I am mixed up, my long run is Friday!!!!!!  It has been a super busy crazy day!!

You are baiting me! AND have you ever considered stand-up comedy? You are too cute and a great friend! 10 points for you :) XOXOXO

You will do GREAT on your 10 miler and will for sure kick my trash! ;)

From les on Thu, Jun 19, 2008 at 12:19:05

We will see about kicking your trash! I would love to do an average pace of 10:55, I think it is more possible on a race, I am not sure I will push myself that hard on a training run. We shall see!

It was TOTALLY the race! and I prayed the WHOLE way!!

Get back to the bleach! She'll be so mad if you burn off her hair ;)
