Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

We did a lower body work out at bootcamp and then went outside and did 3 hill repeats on Fort Union Blvd.   I have dropped 2% body fat in 4 weeks. My goal is drop another 5% and then maintain, now that is the hard part!

Less than 3 weeks to SG!!!!!

WAY TO GO!!! You are really doing GREAT! That bootcamp is TOO cool! Are you feeling recovered from Saturday yet? One of my friends hubbies had to dnf the 100 because he tripped at lambs canyon and broke his nose in 3 places. It was going to be his 16th finish. He was going to keep going until part of his face started to protrude unnaturally and the medic thought he'd better go get an mri ;) Ultra runners are NUTS! ;)

You are absolutely right! I wish I was one of them, but I am just a wanna be! I feel bad for your friend's hubby. I am feeling great today. I am actually very excited about St. George this year, it will seem so much easier than my Sat. run. I am still not concerned about time, I just want to feel good at the end. That is my only goal.

Glad you are feeling better today! I think you and yoga are a great pair!

I am so glad that you are feeling better and recovered. You are recovering SO fast these days! No more granny! I just hope that yoga is my magic bullet like boot camp is for you :)
