Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Today we are heading up to Huntsville for Harold's family reunion camp out.  No running until next week.

I hope you all have a nice long run Sat. or race!  See ya Monday!

Have a great weekend! I miss you. I envy all you people with family and friends to hang with. Weekends and holidays make me feel like a total loser. (sigh) Guess I'll do chores for a couple of hours and then head in to work to play catch-up.

I miss you too, on Monday I will call or email you and lets set something up! I think you should take Wed. off and do the Mid Mountain trail with Gary and I, I am taking the whole day off.

hey, are you going to do the 10k?

Les - yeah - doing the Sandy 10K tomorrow at 7:15.

What do you mean you are 'taking the whole day off'? Isn't that what you have done most of this last month? :-) (like we are supposed to feel bad for you)

Maurine, I am no expert on running, but pushing yourself on a 10K after your ultra doesn't sound like a good idea to me. I hope you are not going to kill yourself.

Yes, I have been a lady of liesure!! Love it!

Have fun traveling woman. I think you have become a gypsy!
