Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

Today is a busy day, I have to do most of my Friday appts. today, so I am packed. I will be lucky if I get a mile walk in with Odee tonight.  Oh, well, this is what I have to do to get a day off tomorrow.  I am so looking forward to St. George!

OOPS!!  I just realized I gave you the wrong med. info yesterday.  The drug I mentioned yesterday was for the bladder infection.  Naproxen is the med for my PF.  It seems to  help my feet, but it is making me extremely bloated, it did say that was one of the side effects, that was another reason I didn't jump out of bed earlier to get my run in today. I had alot of fiber yesterday, that could be part of the problem as well, I better watch it today, I can't be feeling like this Sat.

Yeah - don't push the fiber until after Painters or you will be doing many VPB's all day.

I never had much luck with Naproxen. You will have to tell me if it works for you.

What are you doing with Odee while you are gone? Does he need a walker?

I couldn't believe it when I got on the scales this morning and was down another 2 pounds after my pint of ice cream last night! I guess healthy eating the majority of the time and working out every spare minute helps.

Yes, I am going to lay off the fiber until after Painters for sure!

Naproxen seems to be helping, after today I will know if it is the meds or fiber giving me this bloating.

Jana is going to stay at the house and watch Odee, but thanks for the offer to help.

Good night! Two more pounds and you are already getting so tiny! I was super good yesterday, and the scale went up a pound. I feel like a whale today. I am really going to have to be careful in St. George, I always gain on a race weekend.

All that busy work count as x-training. Get plenty of sleep tonight so you're rested for Sat.'s party.

See you tomorrow!!!
