Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

THANK YOU MARION !!!!!!!! It was a perfect run, great scenery, very few cars, relatively flat course and of course wonderful company!!!!

Now I don't know how to get rid of the pink. Okay, you need to read Marion's blog, she has the splits and all the details.

It was so much fun, the only down side was I got a phone call from Maurine this morning at 5:15 and she pooped out on us.  We missed her, but had a great time.  It is NOT that far to Payson, it was worth the drive and  I wouldn't hesitate to go anytime I get a chance.  I was worried about keeping up with Marion, after my big run on Sunday, but she was so easy going and we had so much fun talking, I hardly noticed the sore muscles.  Payson Canyon is wonderful, I would like to that again.  It was fun to go to breakfast after and chat.  Marion makes everyone feel like she is your best friend.  Thanks again Marion! Now I am going to take an ice bath and take a nap!

Woo hoo!  This is my highest mileage week I have had since last summer!!

Oooohhh Pink, I like it! You are just the best my dear! It was so fun to have you to run with this morning. My gut is killing me from the greasy breakfast. Next time I'll just make you a yummy breakfast here :) You are an angel friend and I am SO glad I know you!!!

Good run, ladies. Great week Leslie!

Geesh - you make it sound like I was being lazy. You forgot to mention I was sleeping off the flu yesterday and didn't fall asleep until around 3 a.m. this morning.

Leslie!!! You totally rock!!! HOW WONDERFUL to run with Marion...GREAT FUN!!! CONGRATS on the NICE mileage this week. I hear ya on how fast the miles fly when you're running and chatting with such a fun friend and running partner. That breakfast sounds pretty hefty. We have a ONE MAN BAND in Lehi too. It's like eating down South, yum!
