Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

My whole body fought me this morning, I had two days off running and xcrossing and it was not good. I learned a very valuable lesson, my body needs to move every day, or I seize up.  My AP was 13:13.

This week I am going to try and run 5 miles Mon. thur Thur., I will also do my muscle-up  Tue and Thur.  Friday, Harold and I are going to our beach house in San Juan Capistrano for a long weekend.  I can not wait to run along the beach and soak up the sun!

Have a great week everyone!

The beach trip sounds wonderful! You'll have so much fun. Enjoy the vitamin D.

Hopefully you will get to run with Gary and enjoy the beach time.

Sun sounds so good right now (maybe I'll go lay by the window)

Girls, we need to plan a beach house trip some day and plan a run, it is a fabulous beach house, right on a private beach, sleeps 10 in beds and lots of couch and floor space!!! I am SO ready!!! Maurine, you lay out by that window, play the Beach Boys music while you are doing it and you are half way there!!! I hope to run with Gary.

Me, me, me...I wanna go!!! The thought of running on the beach is motivation enough for me. You and Harold deserve a wonderful weekend at the beach house. FUN FUN FUN!!!
