Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I was supposed to run with Gary, but I guess he isn't coming.  I am not motivated to get out there on my own this morning.  I was lucky I made it thru bootcamp, my arms were so sore I almost skipped out on class this morning, I am glad I made it, but I am really tired and think I will take the rest of the day off.  Actually I think I will crawl back into bed for awhile.

I met Maurine for a hike up Little Cottonwood Canyon, the hike killed me, I am in a fragile state with all this bootcamp crap.  Maurine was kind enough to hike with me for 2 miles and then she took off. It was nice to visit.  It was killer hot!

Good for you for at least getting out. I was too lazy to get out of bed to run - went to work instead.

We had to do like 30 burpies, but in sets of 5 this morning in Kickboxing and the whole time I was thinking of you doing 72 - I still can hardly believe it!!! Nice work keeping up the class even though it's a toughie, it'll pay off soon!!!

Good to visit with you tonight Les. Did you see the bunnies on the way down? I didn't.
