Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I took Odee up to Millcreek to run the Pipeline this morning.  There is still way to much snow, but it is melting and I am optimistic it will be ready for running in a couple of weeks.  We went on a beautiful 3 mile hike, blue skies, warm and  it just felt so good to me up in the mountains again, the best part is the pine woodsy smell.  Heaven.

I bought a annual pass today, I am always thinking I should and I  finally did it this morning, I will make it worth it this year!!

Annual pass? I might have to suck up to you, friend!

no sucking up required! Now we just have to take advantage of it!

What a beautiful morning to go hiking with Odee. Annual pass? Sounds exciting.

Annual Pass??? ( I just had to keep up the trendy question) What a great way to start the week. I can't believe how much this blasted weather can change :) today is PERFECT!!!

Did you see Luz's idea for the back of our shirt, "You've just been Pinked!" I like it!

Hi girls! This weather is making me happy, I think the snow has been such a downer.

I love " you've just been Pinked!!!" It is perfect!!

I am so excited I am going to a fundraiser concert tonight for Paul Cardall!

oh, and the annual pass is $40 so I don't have to pay to get out of the canyon every time I drive down. It is $2.25 a trip. So I need to do lots of trips up the canyon to make it worth it. I will keep track.

"You've just been PINKED" is perfect!!! That might not tick a guy off and light a fire under his butt to repass us quite like "You've been chicked."

jealous, jealous, jealous!! I LOVE millcreek, its my favorite canyon! Great job getting out there and enjoying it...I know you'll do more of it especially once the snow melts :)

Hey if you ever want to run, let's say 3:30-4 in the afternoon, I'd join you after school and go on the trail. I love that place.

RAD and Laurie, let me know, I am game for a Millcreek run any time. Laurie, that is a good time frame for me too, if you give me a days notice maybe Maurine would get off early and join us. And then we could go to Zuppa's and gain all the calories we lost! Did you bring your clothes to work today? Today is good.
