Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I took Odee out to Draper and did the Porter Rockwell trail, I went south from the South Mountain bridge, I stilll don't know how far south it goes, I had to turn around to get back for work.  I love this trail!

Today is my first weigh in for the Biggest Loser Contest.  I am down 2 pounds!  I had to work hard for that, only one splurg meal all week, it is tough!  It will be hard to stay on track with our St. George weekend.

Here's to a great taper week for us all!  Stay healthy and injury free!

Good job getting out, Leslie and also in taking Odee.

What were your inches lost for the week? I was down 1.2 pounds and 2 inches.

I think I will build up while you taper and then my mileage will make you all jealous this week.

2 inches as well, good luck on the building!!!

GREAT JOB and you kept the weight off through the weekend (I can never do that) and you even had a date night! AWESOME!

Nice run with Odee. GREAT JOB with the run AND the weight loss. See you in 5 days! Can't wait. Be strong, don't give into temptations. And stay healthy.
