Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I slept in a bit, and did a short run/walk around the neighborhood, I will try and get back into my running more next week.  It has been hard to think of anything else besides Paul.  I really need running in my life, on many levels.

Good job getting up and going out for a little bit. WE've really been missing you. Have you still been working?

Do you want to go with us tomorrow?

forgot to mention what a great picture of you and Harold! I still need to figure out how to get my picture on my blog.

I use wonder why Tom would want to take the time and effort to go out running during stressful times. Now I understand better. It really is a time to meditate and clear your thoughts. I sure hope things are improving! Good luck to you and your family!

We just got a good report from the hospital, he is off oxygen and breathing on his own, he is off the sedation drugs and moving more. The doctor and physical therapist said he is really looking great today!! It is the first time we have had real good upbeat report! Thanks for asking and caring. I really appreciate it.
