Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

I am taking a day off. My 3 hours of workout classes at the gym yesterday and run with Maurine, pooped me out, it was a lot harder than running 4 1/2 hours, I am stiff in places I normally don't hurt.  Any way I am off to help out at Girls Camp this morning and then hang out in Park City until my open water swim clinic at East Canyon. It  should be a fun day!

Good luck with the massage training. Did you get all the bottles filled? That would have been entertaining to watch. :)

What a fun day. All of your days sound fun to me! I may be weird, but I love it when I am sore in places I normaly am not. I picture those areas getting smaller. The soreness is our fat screaming! "Scream for mercy to ugly fatness!!"

PLEASE do not say screaming to Leslie. My ears are still ringing:

- Leslie screaming when she tripped

- Leslie screaming out the car window as we passed her husband

- Me screaming inwardly as Les called me Marion

You guys are a crack up! I am a screamer when I trip and I trip alot on the trails, my legs are connected to my vocal cords I think.

Hey you guys this Desert Sharks open water clinic was so AWESOME!!! I got to wear a wet suit and swim in it for an hour an a half up at East Canyon, at first I thought it was going to suck all the air out of me, it felt so constricting, but then I got used to it and I think I might have some fun with it. I just may join their club, they have swimming, biking and running clinics and they were very friendly and there were afew people that looked about my age! The best part was my oldest son went and I got to hang out with him and his friend.

The girls camp went great, spent all day giving 22 girls and half of the leaders mini massages, they had a Swiss Day Spa theme going on for the afternoon. It was pretty fun. Life is good!!

Talk to you all tomorrow!!! Good night!

Oh, yeah, Marion, I do actually like the pain after a run too, the fat is screaming its way out!! I like that!!
