Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

It's almost Friday and  then the long weekend.  We are going to Torrey, the happiest place on earth! :)  I will have 3 of my 4 kids, yippee!!! Slot canyons, arches and family fun!

You are doing AMAZING! I am so excited to hear how St George goes! How is the PF? Any lingering twinges? Are you feeling all recovered from PCM? You are SO impressing me with all of your moves :)

Scott, no, my friend turned her ankle and I don't want to do that climb by myself. I am bummed. What is your adventure for the weekend? We are hoping to do Spooky and Peekaboo down in Escalante. It should be easy, but very scenic and fun!

Marion, the PF is still lingering, but very manageable. All is going well, knock on wood!!! Thanks for asking! I hope you do great this weekend, please have a pancake with whipped cream for me, okay???

I will do it just for you, Leslie :)

I'm hoping to do Kings Peak on Friday if the weather cooperates. I have heard Peakaboo is awesome.

Scott, have a safe and wonderful time!

Marion, I am doing St. George as a training run like I did Park City, I will not push it at all, I was thrilled to have all my body parts working so well after PC, my goal is a strong finish not a fast time. I think that is always going to be my game plan, I don't do fast.

Leslie, I'm so glad all your parts are feeling better :) Have an amazing vacation, I'm jealous! Can I eat a pancake in your honor too? :)
